Joanna Brown is a performance artists and writer devising performances associated with the romantic, uncanny and everyday. For her durational performance in the Lees Lift Joanna will encourage the public to contemplate the horizon line on the lift's journey taking Polaroid photos as a document of the brief event. Joanna will collect the images into a book work that functions as both an archive of the journey and a physical memory of the individuals presence in the lift space.
