Lady Lucy and Kayle Brandon have been collaborating together for the past 2 years. The Drawing Exchange is an ongoing project where the artists invite individuals of all ages and abilities to partake in a drawing workshop. It is social event where participants join a small group interacting with each other and the drawing exercises the artists set. To date the exchanges have been held in a social club and taken the form of a botanical walk. For the Less Lift event the artists will encourage people to join in drawing the surrounding environment from the flora and fauna of the lift route to the seascape and buildings of the nearby Lees. It is an event that both encourages drawing as a social, simple and enjoyable activity and encourages participants to look at their surroundings, re-interpreting their everyday environment.
