Amy Feneck is an artist and film maker having recently completed at project at the CCA Glasgow. Amy's work is concerned with the use and interpretation of the urbanspace, looking in particular at how different social groups appropriate and re-map their immediate environment ,bringing up discourses on space and spatial politics using the medium of film to convey the social and physical structures of a given site.   For her installation in the Lees Lift Amy will be working with footage of the British Coast. For the last three months Amy has been travelling around Britain and filming the sea at given locations building up a document of the coast that plays with ideals of the seascape and the medium of film itself, positioned in the Lift space the work echoes the exterior seascape and ignites mediation on the surrounding environment.
